574 "Dakota" Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron
574 Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron Cadets are encouraged to become active, responsible members of their communities. The Cadet Program is community-based.
The Cadet Program is one of the largest federally sponsored youth programs in Canada that includes:
• The Royal Canadian Sea Cadets;
• The Royal Canadian Army Cadets; and
• The Royal Canadian Air Cadets. It is a national program for young Canadians aged 12 to 18 who are interested in participating in a variety of fun, challenging and rewarding activities while learning about the Sea, Army and Air
On Saturday June 8th, 574 Cadets took to the skies at our Familiarization Flight Day. Our cadets got to experience a city tour flight in a small engine Cessna. A huge thank you to Mitchison Flight Centre for helping us facilitate this day for our cadets!

What a week for 574 cadets! To finish off our week 574 cadets marched in the Buster Days Parade in Martensville.
On Thursday May 30th, 574 went to the Saskatchewan Aviation Museum to have a tour of the Tiger Moth. One of the training planes for pilots during World War II.
This last spring 574 ran a First Aid Training Clinic for our cadets. Congratulations to those cadets who are now standard first aid qualified!
On Tuesday May 28, 574 cadets who had a 90% or higher attendance to mandatory events were presented with perfect attendance pins. Congratulations to these cadets!

Operation “Top Fun” 2024
From May 24th to May 26th, cadets from 574 and 797 Lanigan squadrons came together and had a great FTX weekend.
Cadets were able to try all activities such as:
Bannock on a Stick
Mock Farm Accident
Survival Knot Tying
Nature Walk
Land Navigation
Search and Rescue First Aid
Shelter Building
And way more!
MRE’s were the main meal given to cadets, but we would like to thank 107’s parents committee for cooking up some great burgers for supper on Saturday!
Cadets had a great weekend, meeting new people and learning what the survival aspect of Air Cadets has to offer.
547 RCACS is out in Martensville and Warman for tag day! Raising funds for FAM Flying!
Last night while our senior cadets were sitting their merit review boards, we had some brave ACs and LACs participate in our first ever AC/LAC Parade! These cadets bravely got up in front of their peers and commanded the parade.
