This Sunday is Kick-Off Sunday. It’s like a regular Sunday, but with more things to bounce on and more yummy food to eat!

We will be kicking-off the ministry year by serving breakfast and lunch as the day progresses so plan for some extra time to hang out after the worship gathering.

Note: Some of the parking lot will be used for set up…. So please park up at Citadel Middle School if at all possible.

See you Sunday!

Origin stories are the best.

- Batman Begins
- Unbreakable
- The Hobbit
- Iron Man
- Henry IV Part 1
- Star Wars Episode 1….

Ok, MOST origin stories are the best, but the book of Genesis is THE original origin story - It tells us who we are, where everything came from and why anything matters!

This Sunday we are starting at the very beginning with a new sermon series in Genesis 1-11. Join us to hear from God about who he is and how this all started.

Gathering Times: 8:30AM / 10:00AM / 11:30AM

This is also an invitation to anyone thinking about serving in Kids Ministry - you are welcome to attend the training session to get more information and check things out.

At least half the time will be spent on correct flannel graph technique so, you definitely want to be there 😁

We are so grateful for all those who serve our kids and families by teaching them about Jesus in all sorts of creative ways!

One of our great desires as a church is to train up godly leaders for our local context and beyond.

The TriCity Church Ministry Apprenticeship is an 8-month program (September-April) designed to help individuals discern a call to vocational ministry. The goal is that each apprentice would be exposed to the inner workings of church ministry in a variety of areas, with a combination of hands-on experience and theological training.

If you are interested please check out the church website or come to an information meeting this Sunday at 10am.

Applications are due by June 9.

Next Sunday - DEC 10 - is giving Sunday!
—————————————————
Each year during the Christmas season we raise money for projects and people who are seeking to advance the gospel and care for those in need.

This year we’ve chosen 5 fantastic projects to support. We have full write ups on our website, but here is a quick snap shot of each one:

George & Nicolette are preparing to serve as long term missionaries in Lithuania. Money raised will be used to help them get established over seas.

Sean & Amy (and their new daughter) are in the planning stages of entering into long-term missions in Uganda. Money raised will be used to help with travel and start-up expenses.

Port City Church is a recent church plant in Halifax, NS. We are helping them raise funds for a new church planting apprenticeship position so that they can multiply further in the Atlantic region.

Dan & Alison Unger (and their lovely daughters) are newly stationed at a Christian school in Uganda and are seeking to make disciples in the school and community. Money raised will go towards their ongoing monthly expenses.

The Compassion: Survival program is targeting babies born in poverty in Rio Jordan, Mexico. Funds raised will go towards medical, spiritual and home based care for mothers and their babies.
——————————————————
We are asking everyone in the church to come next Sunday (Dec 10) prepared to give generously. Our Goal is $50,000. All giving for that day will be divided equally between the 5 projects.
