URGENT: The BC SPCA is in desperate need of materials to help temporarily house and care for a recent intake of over 200 cats and kittens. We need these materials urgently by Tuesday mid-day to our Kamloops, Kelowna, Surrey, and North Cariboo Animal Centres. Our needs include:

- Amazon or Canadian Tire gift cards.
- Financial contributions- if you are unable to contribute crates, your support is greatly appreciated. Learn more at https://bit.ly/more-than-200-cats-and-kittens.

- Laundry Detergent
- Dish Soap
- Cat Litter (non-clumping preferred)
- Paper Towel
- Canned Cat Food

We are very sad to announce that we are closed to all intake at this time.

We have so many puppies in care and we have no more foster homes to take anymore! We have not had any puppies adopted in a while. Our adoption event over the weekend, yielded no successful matches.

We, as well as all other rescues, are full and are unable to help as much as we would like.

Our financial situation is maxed out because we are not getting the support we need either.

We have received many calls and texts to help with animals in distress and sadly we have had to say no! Simply, we do not have the resources to help, which for us is gut wrenching as we know these animals are suffering and need us. But we have pushed ourselves to the brink and now we are in a dangerous financial position.

Too many people are getting animals and letting them have puppies. Everywhere you look there are free dogs and puppies. We are trying to stop this by spaying and neutering as well as educating. But we need help!

The Food Drive was a huge success and I just wanted to give a shout out to everyone who participated and say a great big thank you, thank you very much, on behalf of Soft Paws Cat and Luv's Northern Rescues! I'm so grateful to be surrounded by such beautiful and generous hearts! Happy Holidays Prince George, and looking forward to a great year in 2024! 🎄🐾🎁

We're doing a Food Drive, in Prince George, BC, from December 11th - 17th!

If you have any items that you would like to donate to the rescues below, collection is available from your home. Contact me to schedule pickup either on social media, or give us a call or send us an email. Contact info is in the bio.

When you're out shopping, grab an extra bag of food or a fun toy. Take a rummage in your closets for items to donate.

The rescues have requested:

Cat, kitten food
Dog, puppy food
Blankets, beds, linens, towels, rags
Dishes, toys, leashes, collars ,etc!
If an animal can use it, they will take it!

These rescues are run by caring, dedicated and very hard-working, local PGers and their generous foster homes, so let's help them out this holiday season!
