Got most of the guys out for the ‘Summer Edition’ team day. This year instead of Skydiving or Bungee jumping, we tried out Quad biking and the Escape room in Whistler!

Meet my crew! Today is my eldest son Corbins 14th birthday, and also marks Base Electrics journey into our 8th year in business..8 years ago my phone started ringing (and never stopped) I never had a plan, just an intuitive value to provide exceptional service to my growing list of clients..I could but have achieved any of this without the support of my crew at home and all the countless hours my operations team has put in for me over the years! For every grateful to everyone that’s helped me and to continuing this journey for years to come..🙏🎂💥🙂

Been a great couple years having Jaksun on the team!
Ever since coming over to Base Electric at the beginning of 2021 from a large city contractor, Jaksun specifically wanted a more varied work experience in the electrical field and to feel like part of a team, he has applied himself in all areas and expanded his knowledge base vastly over the last 2 years,
Jaksun is heading to South America for a couple of months volunteering and gaining some life experience,

We look forward to seeing Jaksun in the future and to hearing about his new adventures,

Office Administrator

Seeking a part-time office administrator to join our growing local business. The position is a hybrid of office administration and junior bookkeeping, with some entry level human resource tasks.
The right fit will be someone who is organized, enjoys multitasking, excels at communication in all its forms, and can be dynamic with work priorities.

Tasks - may include
- Junior bookkeeping
- Replying to client emails
- New Client intake
- Scheduling
- Payroll processing for a small staff
- Helping organize Staff events
- Organizing or ordering Staff merchandise

The ideal candidate will:
- Have min 2-3 years experience in administration or management (experience in trades not necessary)
- Be adaptable in learning
- Be a strong communicator
- Will be organized
- Will enjoy working independently while also being part of a team

Considered an Asset: (but not necessary)
- Experience with Quickbooks
- Comfortable with Outlook
- Proficient with Excel

This is a full renovation project that was completed the end of 2022, located in beautiful Garibaldi Highlands, Squamish.

Bluewater Concepts has entrusted Base Electric with the majority of their projects over the last couple of years and we are for ever grateful for the continued trust and support to ensure that all the projects, that we are a part of continue to be at the highest level of customer and contractor satisfaction!

The next few weeks we will be showcasing our works with Bluewater concepts, which include everything from Residential, Commercial, Industrial and remote location projects!

Fun Fact Friday!
Did you know the name Base Electric was legally formed back in 2014, when and I were commissioned to be stunt doubles for a tv commercial!

Other projects under the Base Electric name included Base Jumping of the Peak2Peak Gondola for vehicles and a multi person for US based solar giant in Vancouver.
Personally I have completed (successfully over 6500 skydives over the past 20+ years)

Base Electric (now incorporated as Base Electrical Services LTD) has gone from a part time gig, to an organization employing 7.

Needless to say the ‘Sky is the limit’ when it comes to setting an achieving personal and business related goals..🙏💥☀️

Promotion announcement!
Kyra has moved up to a Foreman/Project Co ordinator position:

Kyra came to Base Electric 4 years ago as a 3rd year apprentice.
Dissatisfied working on larger monotonous projects, Kyra excelled working in a fast paced and varied working environment!

She has worked her way up to running major renovation projects, new builds, custom houses, service upgrades, commercial installations, fire alarm, generators, car chargers and service jobs..to name a few!

We are so fortunate to have her be a part of our dedicated crew over the years, through the thick and the thin!

Kyra will now begin committing part of her working week off the tools in a project co ordinator position and the rest continuing in a supervisory foreman role in charge of our journeyman and apprentices.
