POLAR is truly a dignified boy in both stature and demeanour. Playful, friendly and affectionate, Polar thoroughly loves the out-of-doors and enjoys all activities that can provide him with the daily exercise a pet such as this requires. Polar gets along with the cat in his home, is a good fit for children 12 years plus and is, overall, a very sociable lad.
**We do recommend, however, that he be the only canine in his household.

Stella, a 42 lb Bouvier des Flandres cross, is just two years of age, spayed and up-to-date on all vaccinations. This energetic puppy is intelligent ( has nailed all the sit/stay/down/paw commands), gentle, affectionate and great with dogs & folks of all ages. She has not been tested with cats.
Stella is full of energy and, loving her walks and out-of-door activities, would thrive with an active family who are constantly on the go. This breed has been found to be very protective of their humans and Stella is no exception. We believe that anyone looking for a loyal canine companion for years to come should seriously consider her.

Dear Beau is missing & his family wants him home safe and sound.
He answers to Beau-Beau. He is approximately 2yrs old, neutered & microchipped. He is a grey/beige Tabby/Egyptian Mao mix – he has beautiful striped markings and some spots. He is playful and will bite – but does not break the skin. He is a shorthair with a slim build and a very long tail.

LOBO (meaning wolf in spanish) is a beautiful Siberian Husky looking for his forever family in the Toronto area.
He is currently at our rescue partner Huellitas de Acero A.C. Puerto Escondido in Mexico where it’s much too hot for this breed. He was rescued from an extremely abusive/neglectful situation & needs a loving forever family. Could you be that family?

We have fantastic news!! Orejas has been adopted by a wonderful woman in Pickering, who has another dog, so he’ll have a buddy!! She is a perfect match for our sweet boy!! Can’t wait to watch him flourish in his forever home🐾💜🐕

** URGENT PLEA**
Currently in Toronto- Orejas, age 6, neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations, was originally a beach dog ( Heinz 57 variety predominantly Labrador Retriever and Terrier) in Mexico who was hit by a car and subsequently lost part of his leg, although it doesn’t slow him down! Thankfully the compassionate folks at Huellitas de Acero A.C. Puerto Escondido Mexico came to his aid and Orejas lived in their sanctuary for four years. Several months ago, however, he was flown to Canada in an effort to find him a secure, forever home. The bright and positive future that we predicted for this boy has, unfortunately, not materialized and his days are numbered unless we find him an interim foster home immediately.

Please reach out so that we can tell you more about Orejas-a gentle, affectionate dog who, through no fault of his own, finds himself in a life threatening situation when all he truly wants is a chance to find a better life with a Canadian family. Ideally he’ll do best in a quiet, calm home with 1-2 adult family members where he can bond, decompress & learn what living in a home with a family is like. Orejas walks well on a leash & enjoys his walks. He does fine with other dogs. Let’s give Orejas his chance at a beautiful life🐾🙏

SNOW IS SAFE! Thank You, Oasis Community!

We are thrilled to report that Snow has found a fabulous foster family in Whitby, Ontario. Yeh!! He will be arriving on Friday from the municipal shelter in which he is presently being held and we are beyond excited. Thank you to all who reached out to Oasis on his behalf. It is folks like you that allow a dog, such as Snow, to survive and reach his full potential.

Please Help Save SNOW. Snow is barely 9 months of age and is in a life threatening situation. Housed in an overcrowded municipal shelter and this gentle Husky boy will be euthanized within days unless a foster home placement can be found. Neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations, Snow was obviously beaten as a young puppy and would benefit immensely if there could be another dog in his foster families residence to help him regain his confidence in the world around him. Snow is initially very shy with strangers ( men in particular) but warms up quickly given time and patience on the part of his caregiver. So young and so sweet! CLAY gets along wonderfully with both people and animals (and has a great deal of love to give) but he is in need of a home. We think you'll agree his resemblance to Santa's Little Helper is the cutest thing ever!

MAX IS SAFE! We, at Oasis Animal Rescue, would like to thank all who responded to our urgent plea for foster support with the beautiful Labrador boy Max. I am happy to say that he is settling into his new foster home in St. Catharines and shall now be given an opportunity to find a forever family who will love and care for this boy for many years to come. We cannot tell you how grateful we are for the support we received. Thank you all once again.

Help Save Max! Max is just two years of age and, sadly, will be euthanized next week unless a foster family willing to accept a playful, boisterous, full of life puppy can be found. This Labrador boy is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations. He gets along fabulously with other dogs, is great with children and enjoys meeting new people. Plastic toys and bones are favourites at playtime and Max truly loves the water. Max was not properly socialized as a youngster and therefore still has a tendency to jump and nibble. This is behaviour easily dealt with if the foster parent has both the patience and an interest in doing so. Could that be you? Max needs your help.
