We wish everyone a Happy New Year!
We chose to Celebrate by heading to hike the Foote Woods trails on Jan 1st. These are on Privately owned lands that the gracious Landowners open up to the Public, for all to enjoy respectfully. It is an amazing place.
A throwback to last December when Benjamin Bridge was set up for their outside Christmas area, but had not opened it yet. Those Christmas trees below, all supplied by my cousin. It had just begun to snow when we took flight. shot in 4k, but not sure if FB keeps the resolution.

I’m calling it Porcupine Vault, but if there is an official name, let me know.
I’ve tried to get down in there in the summer and winter but both times were impassable. Today was the day when there were no leaves and no big snow drifts so we made it. Quite a spot and will have more photos from down inside at a later date.

In our Journey through this life, A Story we need to read again and again…
She said,
“Don't call the doctor, I want to fall asleep peacefully, with your hand in mine.”
He told her about the past, how they met, their first kiss.
they didn't cry, they smiled.
They didn't regret anything, they were grateful. Then she repeated softly,
'I love you forever!'
He returned her words, gave her a soft kiss on the forehead.
She closed her eyes and fell asleep peacefully with her hand in his.
Love is really all that matters because everyone comes into this world with nothing other than love and leaves with nothing other than love.
Think about it.
Profession, career, bank account, property, cottages, Cars, our possession’s not lasting, our goods are just tools, nothing more.
Everything stays here.
So just love….
Love those that really love you.
