Murray Centennial School Council would like to say a great, big THANK YOU to our Murray community, volunteers, sponsors and local businesses for making our Fun Fair a HUGE SUCCESS! We could not have done it without you! Funds raised from our Fun Fair will be used to provide our students with new playground and sporting equipment!

Be sure to check out our Silent Auction tomorrow! We have over 50 incredible prizes to be won, many of which were donated by some wonderful local businesses. There’s something for everyone, so make sure to take a look!

- Gift certificates (massage, exterior pest control treatment, free rounds of golf, ski lift tickets and rental equipment…)
- Gift baskets (dental hygiene products and electric toothbrush, fine foods/specialty items…)

PARKING AND SHUTTLE BUS REMINDER

Parking for this event will be at Walmart. Shuttle buses will be running every 10-15 minutes to/from the school, beginning at 4:45 pm and the last shuttle leaving the school will be 8:15 pm.

Only ACCESSIBLE PARKING will be at the school.

*NOTE: We strongly discourage parking along County Road 40. Not only is it unsafe, it makes it difficult for our shuttle bus drivers to see oncoming traffic when turning into and out of the parking lot. Please park at Walmart and use the shuttle bus to keep everyone safe!

Tickets for the games, popcorn, cotton candy and face painting will be sold at stations throughout the school. Tickets are $1 each, and each activity varies in the number of tickets required. Please see the poster below for more information.

We want to thank the Trenton Lions Club for volunteering their time to run our BBQ this Friday! Please see the poster below for menu offerings and pricing details.

We will have several vehicles on site for “Touch A Truck.” They will be parked in the school parking lot, so be sure to check them out!

Don’t forget to stop by our Murray Bear Photo Booth on Friday! This is a FREE activity at the Fun Fair. All you need to do is provide your own camera (the one on your cell phone is great!) and we will have props available for you to use! Want a family photo? No problem! We will have volunteers helping out who can snap a picture for you! Have a grade 8 graduate this year? Make sure to take some photos with our fun grad props!

In addition, we will have some Murray Bear Wear for sale at the Fun Fair. Limited quantities and sizes available!

We are just ONE WEEK away from our Fun Fair! We can’t wait to see everyone on May 24th! We have some great things planned … stay tuned for more “sneak peeks” next week!

We are offering a unique opportunity to our community to “SPONSOR A ROOM” to help us cover costs of set-up, preparation, prizes, advertising, and all the other expenses involved in organizing this event. At a cost of $250.00, you will have a sign posted displaying your support, or advertising your business at one of our rooms/areas of the Fun Fair. This could include a games room, a food area, or the silent auction and basket draw rooms! This will be an opportunity for you to show your support to our school, while helping us raise funds for the initiatives we have listed to improve the daily lives of students and staff at our amazing school!

Murray Centennial School Council hopes that you will join us for an evening of hockey and fun, as we bring our school spirit to watch the Belleville Senators take on the Bridgeport Islanders on Saturday, March 16th at 7 PM. Tickets are $22 each, and all Murray Bears will be seated in the same sections. We can’t wait to see you at the game!

In addition, this game is the 2024 Road to the AHL Night, presented by Mackay Insurance. The first 2,500 fans through the gates at CAA Arena will receive a set of exclusive, limited edition Road to the AHL trading cards. This season’s set features 2024 AHL All Star Angus Crookshank, along with returning favourites Cole Reinhardt and Max Guenette. The set also includes rookie defenceman Tyler Kleven, and veteran forwards Boko Imama and Garrett Pilon.

Students (13+) are welcome to join caregivers for this presentation.
