Slowly but surely, we will get there. We will get the help that April needs. I've seen April twice in the last week and I can't believe how rough it is for her. We've created a poster to share and even added a QR code to hopefully make it easier to donate. Remember every little bit helps. Please consider two things: 💲 1. DONATE 🙏2. SHARE THIS POST and if you have a place to post it in your office, that would be amazing. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart 🩷❤️

Summer is upon us, and the bikes and bikes are out. Fires started by lithium-ion batteries on e-bikes are up. Here are some safety tips to remember:

1. Buy an electric bike that is certified by a qualified testing organization such as Underwriters Laboratory. The same applies to other devices powered by a lithium-ion battery.
2. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for charging and storage.
3. Always use the manufacturer’s cord and power adapter made specifically for the bike.
4. Do not leave an electric bike unattended while it’s charging, and don’t leave it charging overnight.
5. If a battery overheats or you notice an odour, a change in shape or colour, leaking, or odd noises, stop using it immediately.
6. If the battery reacts in an alarming way, and it is safe to do so, move the device away from anything that can catch fire and call 911.
7. Keep batteries and devices at room temperature. Do not place them in direct sunlight.
8. Store batteries away from anything flammable.
9. Do not use aftermarket batteries.
10. Do not block your primary way into and out of the building with an e-bike or other device.
11. Do not leave an e-bike in a child’s room (or bedrooms in general).

Have you had a chance to review your car insurance lately? 🚗

Here are a few things to look for:

• Accident and Conviction Waivers: Does your policy include endorsements that protect your premiums should you have convictions or an at-fault accident?
• Rental car coverage: Do you have coverage to rent a vehicle if your vehicle is involved in an accident?
• Additional discounts may apply if you use an app to track your great driving habits or give permission for a “soft” credit check.

Reach out and we can check it out for you!
