Can I thaw & refreeze food?
Yes. To thaw food safely, we recommend the following:
✔️ Thaw in the refrigerator. If you thaw food at room temperature, in a sink with cold water, or in a microwave, you must use thawed food within 3 days. Do not refreeze. Only food thawed in a refrigerator can be refrozen.
✔️ Portion into individual servings.
✔️ Refreeze immediately.
✔️ Once thawed for the second time, use the food within 24 hours.
Thawing, refreezing, and re-thawing meat can result in some loss of moisture and product quality.
