Timber Ridge Tree Service is currently looking for a new lead arborist/crew lead to work through the 2023 tree season.

We are looking for a candidate that is experienced in the arboriculture industry and familiar with all aspects of the tree business.
Our jobs consist of both residential and commercial jobs.

The person we are looking for must be a competent climber and have experience with rigging trees. The ability to do hazardous removals would also be an asset. Experience in pruning and shaping all species of trees, hedges and bushes is a must.

Certification is not required but it is a benefit and wages will be adjusted based on your qualifications and work ethic.

You must have a valid drivers license, be able to drive a chip truck, maintain aborist equipment such as (chainsaws, hedge trimmers, chippers, stump grinders, etc.)
We also expect the crew lead to be able to manage, lead and organize, a ground crew while on the job site.

Good communication skills are a must. You may have to speak to residential customers and be able to understand their needs and concerns to ensure they are happy.
You will be communicating with the office on a daily basis and be responsible for time management on the job site.

You will also be required to check the trucks, and load the tools needed to complete the jobs assigned each day.

Must have your own transport to and from work.

We operate primarily in Calgar and surrounding area and our shop is located on Hi Way 22x just East of Calgary.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, is reliable and has a good work ethic, We expect you to show up prepared and ready to complete the jobs required.

You do not need your own climbing equipment or PPE but is a bonus if you have it.

We are a family owned and operated company that runs one crew and expects a high quality of work and happy clients when a job is completed.

Timber Ridge Tree Service is looking for a new lead arborist to work throughout the Fall.

Potential hours will range from 24-40+ hours per week.

The expectation is that you are familiar and experienced in the arboriculture industry and able to complete residential or commercial jobs.

Must be able to climb as we do not have a bucket truck. Experience with rigging and hazardous removals is also a benefit. Must be able to prune and shape trees, hedges, bushes etc.

We are looking for a full time grounds person that is familiar with the Arboriculture Industry.

Duties would include picking up tree debris, raking, loading logs into trucks and operating a back pack blower. You would be expected to learn how to operate chainsaws and a stump grinder. Must be a fast learner, quick on your feet and able to work on site safely.

You would be operating a wood chipper and feeding debris into the chipper.

Occasionally you would be assisting a climber with rigging ropes from the ground

A valid drivers license is required.
