September 30th is a National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day is about remembering Indigenous children that were forced to attend residential schools, those children who never made it home, and the following generations that were affected because of the trauma their parents/grandparents went through.

I will be wearing my orange shirt on this special day (and throughout the year honestly) to show my support for the Indigenous People of Canada.

With the date only a few days away, if you still don't have your shirt, there are some available.

Each shirt purchased will see a donation made to a local indigenous not for profit organization.
