Coming up on the Picton shop’s anniversary and what a year this has been 🩷. The most challenging year of my life and in some ways the most rewarding. I never thought I’d be able to run 2 shops as well as a wholesale jewelry line and some days I’m not great at it and others I do better, I guess.

All the while my main goal is creating a sense of community - both in Ottawa & Picton. So thanks Bay of Quinte for this nomination and also thanks to whoever threw my name in the ring 🙏🏻.

This fall marks our 24th year in business as wholesalers and 13th year as retailers. I’m combing through old images to put together a campaign for our big 25th year celebration happening next year and have come across some old pictures of our shops on Dalhousie - what an adventure that was 🖤.

We’ve never been a curated feed. We’ve always been more comfortable existing in the margins with the odd things that would fill a curiosity cabinet. That’s why we named our first store Wunderkammer. Happy to say we found our people in this city and now are finding them in Picton as well. There’s quite a few of us oddballs out there XO.
