OPP Investigating Theft from Norwich Business A theft was reported from a business on Main Street in Norwich on Friday May 26th and the Oxford OPP released photos of a person of interest this morning.

Remember during the winter months to make sure your fluids are topped up. Especially windshield washer fluid but also antifreeze (radiator) and engine oil.

How do you get a vehicle to high mileage such as the one shown in the picture (ours)? Easy answer, regularly scheduled maintenance.

What is regularly scheduled maintenance?

- oil changes as per manufacture recommendations, and please remember to check your oil between changes

- replacing your air and cabin filters. Liken it to when you change your home furnace filter and how when you change it your furnace seems to take a gasp of fresh air.

- routine check and lubrication of tie rods, ball joints etc.

- changing and maintaining all fluids such as transmission as per manufacture recommendations

- depending upon the vehicle, changing timing belts/chains again as per manufacture recommendations, and yes in many instances that includes changing water pumps at the same time

- if an engine light comes on don’t ignore it, it’s on for a reason
