Dear Northland School Division Families
We are writing to inform you of a significant update regarding the Northland Games, our signature event originally scheduled for May 23rd in Anzac.
Due to the proximity of a nearby wildfire and our commitment to the safety and well-being of Northland School Division students and staff, we have decided to postpone the Northland Games. This event, which traditionally draws hundreds of student-athletes from across the province, features a range of traditional games and track and field events.
We are currently targeting a rescheduled date in September and will provide more specific details and confirm the new date as soon as they are finalized.
We understand the importance of the Northland Games to our students and their families and greatly appreciate your understanding and flexibility during this time. Ensuring the safety of all participants remains our highest priority.
If you are planning to register your child for Kindergarten next year, please come by the school to pick up a registration package.. On May 23 we will be doing prescreening for Speech and Language and Occupational Therapy. When you drop off the registration package you will also need a copy of the birth certificate. First 5 parents that drop off registration packages will win a $25 Visa Card.
