As another term approaches conclusion, I want to take some time to reflect on how blessed I feel to have a rewarding career that energizes me. Not everyone is so lucky...

Spending as much time as I do interacting with my students, I am encouraged that many of you keen individuals will be the thought leaders of the next generation. The future is bright! I appreciate the opportunity to be a small part of your journey.

Hello, Professor Corey!

I hope you're doing well. I just wanted to email you to discuss an error in one of the ECON 101 module concept checks. As you can see in the image I attached to the end of this email, there was an option stating that cantaloupe is "what evil tastes like."

Unfortunately, this is incorrect. Cantaloupe is actually the best testing melon, so I can only assume that this was written in error.
The correct order of melon superiority is as follows:

1) Cantaloupe. Good colour. Great taste. Sort of tastes like nail polish remover when overripe, but nothing is perfect in life so we can forgive that.

2) Honey dew. Closer to what evil tastes like. Still visually appealing. Makes me feel like I'm eating perfume though.

3) Watermelon. Would be #2 if it weren't for the inconvenience. Not consistent, sometimes tastes good but if you have bad watermelon it is a very horrible experience, so tread carefully. Can't wear nice clothes when eating this because it's so messy. The price is much higher when you factor in laundry costs. Has seeds.

4) Every other kind of melon. I'm only putting them at the bottom because I haven't tried many other melons but I'm sure most of them are still better than a bad watermelon.

P.S. I would consider cantaloupe a normal good, because if my income increased my personal demand for this non-evil melon would increase greatly, just saying.
