Sq**rt and friends took a moment today to check their smoke alarms, and they want to remind you to do the same. keep your alarms in top shape with these quick tips:
🔸Change batteries every 6 months for a fresh start!
🔸If your smoke alarm is over 10 years old, it's time for a replacement.
🔸Place alarms in sleeping and common areas, excluding kitchens and garages.
🔸Test your alarm—no sound means it's time for troubleshooting.
🔸Ensure alarms are audible throughout the entire house during the test.
🔸Keep alarms dust-free and free from paint.
