Happy Clients are dropping the “all or nothing” mindset & fully enjoying their summer holidays! 🙌🏻👏🏻
In the past, this client used to restrict herself during social outings or holidays - scared to eat or enjoy ALL THE FOODS for fear she would gain weight…
This would eventually lead to overeating or binging (you can only restrict & white knuckle your way through the days for so long) - leaving her uncomfortable, bloated and full of regret, guilt & embarrassment 😞
She recently embarked on a one week adventure with her husband where she went in with realistic expectations and strategies to help her find balance with food while away from home
What did this look like? (Great question, I would love to tell you😉):
✅ Grocery shopping for the rental house including proteins, veggies & fruits
✅ Making high protein & balanced breakfasts (that included carbs) at “home” & packing lunch/snacks for the day
✅This flexibility allowed wiggle room for fresh fish & chips on the pier in the evenings followed by daily doses of ice cream🍦😋
She felt empowered during her trip to make “better choices” more often but also mentioned how “freeing” it was to give herself permission to not miss out on any aspect of the trip, including food ☺️
She came home a couple pounds up due to water retention (to be expected) but shortly after hit a NEW LOW on the scale
