On Sunday, May 19, 2024 (Pentecost Sunday), we are inviting all EMCC churches to take up a special collection. Individual donations are welcome through our website: buff.ly/4bqN8ex

The offering will be our opportunity, as a family of churches, to make a significant collective impact toward the following needs:

• Our brothers and sisters in Cuba are in urgent need. They are facing significant food and family security challenges. The Missionary Church of Cuba has reached out to us and other global partners for help. The EMCC is partnering with the Missionary Church in Ecuador to raise a collection for Cuba.

Target Goal: $24,000.00 in 2024.

• Helping children in Nepal and India. Our global partners in Nepal (Sara Children’s Home) and India (Little Angels) have programs to holistically care for children by providing for their daily needs and education, all within the context of the local churches there.

Target Goal: $24,000.00 in 2024.

• Investing in the next generation is a crucial part of our mission. We want to raise specific funds to invest in the future leaders of our church here in Canada. We are looking to provide our EMCC Next Gen Team with funding to resource Next Gen leaders – those who serve our children, youth, and young adults.

Target Goal 24,000 in 2024.

Directions to EMCC Churches:

• Thanks for promoting this opportunity within your congregation. You are welcome to utilize and/or adapt the above information for bulletin announcements.
• There is a short video that you may choose to show over the next three Sundays: https://buff.ly/34GkdSu
• Each congregation is asked to collect donations and send in one combined donation to EMCC, which is designated “Pentecost Offering.”
• All donations will be pooled together and distributed evenly to each of these causes.
• Church boards may choose to send in their designated donation to EMCC instead of taking up an offering.
• If all our EMCC churches contributed $650 each, we would meet our goal of $72,000.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Hallelujah, He is risen indeed! 🙌

We trust your church gatherings were impactful and refreshing this weekend.

May the resurrection of Jesus continue to bless you and remind you of God's sacrificial love for both the church and the world.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 (NIV).
