Tuesday Tips 💁‍♀️💁 Did you know exterior keypads allowing you to open your garage door without a remote, use batteries?

Weak batteries can affect the operation of the exterior keypad and prevent your garage door from opening!

Most exterior digital keypads use 9-volt batteries, the rectangular ones. It takes less than 2 minutes to change it and can save you a lot of hassle.

😱 Oh no! You just realized you've lost your garage door opener remote! What can you do to prevent break-ins?

Here are 3 steps to take:
Deactivate your remote by pressing the "Smart Button" on your garage door opener motor.
If you don't have this button, you can unplug your garage door opener motor directly.
Reset all your remotes and external keypads. (The procedure is in your opener manual 😉)

A quick tip: Hide your remote in your car to keep it out of sight from prying eyes!
