Did you know June 5 to 11 is Local Food Week in Ontario? This week Foodland Ontario and Ontario Maple Syrup encourage you to support the local food movement by purchasing from a local farmer or looking for locally produced products in stores. Some Ontario foods that are currently in season include asparagus, greens, green onions, and for sweeteners, the 2023 batch of maple syrup is still available at local sugarbushes.
