You may have noticed some changes in the last few weeks with our company. We have moved from NovaWest Property Services Ltd. to NovaWest Renovations Limited! Same fabulous people just with a new fabulous name (and website!).

Another exciting change is that we are offering a new Custom Client Portal! This will increase our ability to communicate, share updates, provide progress photos, manage the financials, and view the project schedule! We are thrilled about how one of our latest projects turned out! This 1911 kitchen had been renovated countless times and we definitely uncovered a few surprises during the process 😬😬. We really leaned into the century old "hot" pink stained glass and gave this busy family the functional kitchen they needed.

Starting to look like a kitchen 😀😀

Just wrapped a first floor conversion from 2 small suites rental into one LARGE in-law suite for a multi-generational family home. This "suite" feels like a full size home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full-size kitchen with TONS of storage! Happy to be a part of this family's dream to live in one home :)

Custom fitted cabinet accessories for busy family!

Cabinet delivery day for our big kitchen transformation in PoCo!

Wrapping on one of our latest projects! Full 1st floor conversion to an in-law suite for a multi-generational family. Pro photos to follow next week but here is a sneak peek 👀👀

A pretty substantial renovation and improvement to this kitchen! A small closed-in space, a sink that wasn't centered on the window, NO storage, NO dishwasher, a poorly vented oven, and a floor chewed by a very loving Beagle 😆😆.

Now? A WIDE open space fit for entertaining, cooking, and being together as a family. We shifted the load of the home and pushed back the south wall to fit a TON of space with multiple pantries that were custom built around the new fridge and removed unusable original built-ins. We did, however, keep the charming spice cabinet and refaced it to match the new cabinetry. We also removed the west wall to open up into the dining room and bring in more natural light and constructed an arch to match the other unique architectural features of the home.

Here is hoping this new concrete mosaic tile floor is not as appetizing as the previous floor to dear Maisy the Beagle 😉

A&J reached out to our company for "just a white" kitchen. A described her choices as "boring" and plain. They were both looking just to change the smaller kitchen into one that was a lot more functional. Original since it was built, the old kitchen had cabinets that we too deep, not enough drawers, sink that was too shallow, faucet too low, and a pass-thru that was tiny!

One look around the rest of A&J's home, the word "boring" did NOT fit! Their collection of curiosities alone spoke to their quirk. They trusted us to push their boundaries and, in the end, have a kitchen that is fabulous and THEIRS! Not only did we give them more drawers, a built in spice cabinet, leather pulls, pull out recycling/trash cabinet, deeper (and cooler) sink, beautiful faucet, expanded the pass-thru but we gave them a kitchen to match their personality. Oh, and that tile?! It speaks for itself. We also took advantage of their extra wide hall and added a built in pantry.

So much for "boring"! 😂

JM called our company at the perfect time and we were able to sqeeeeze his AMAZING flip in between some current projects. So happy we could get him into his home before Christmas. Now, if only all his furniture wasn't on back order ;)

Renovation, construction, and interior decorating can be challenging during the pandemic and significant weather events. Material and product delays are REAL but with proper planning, we can minimize delays as much as possible.

I think this transformation speaks for itself!
