I made a little banner for my daughter for grad. 👩‍🎓 this was the first time I tried hand binding, and I didn’t hate it - in fact I kinda liked it! I might make the switch!!!!

Added a few smaller scale prints over the past couple of weeks

Make a simple pouch! I cut 2 cotton circles 1 batting (traced a big plate) and quilted them, sewed around the edge, added some premade binding, and left a little space for the cord to be inserted. This keeps this sweet handmade clay strawberries /blueberries 🫐 /whipped cream tic-tac-toe from breaking, and serves as a playing board when opened up.

As many of you already know, Alexander Henry fabrics will be moving on to new endeavours! I have very limited prints left, by the yard. The prices remain the same, I do not believe in raising prices for rare fabric. They are the price they are, based on what I purchased for. 😊 When they are gone, they are gone. So long AH fabrics, I’m going to miss the pin ups the most!!!

How do you mark your lines? I love the Hera marker for straight lines. Do you use one?

Mixing colours is tricky! If you ever want me to send you a picture of a few bolts side-by-side, just shoot me an email! I do it all the time for customers. It really helps to visualize the colours and scale of the fabric.
