Finally getting around to posting pictures from last year's jobs. We were able to rescue and rehabilitate this dock on Loughborough after the ice made a mess of it.

ATTENTION ALL COTTAGERS

As you are probably aware, the amended (essential services) list continues to change, and recreational boating is discouraged. The Ontario government also strongly encourages cottagers to stay home at this time.

With recent high winds and high water, we have recieved several requests from people with both island and mainland cottages, asking if we can check on things in their absence.

Starting tomorrow, Misty Cove will be launching a new COTTAGE WATCH PROGRAM!
A "COTTAGE WATCH VISIT" includes pictures of your shoreline, dock, cottage, and outbuildings, as well as a one page checklist of any findings. (Doors locked, windows closed, no trees down, etc.) Misty Cove Marine is able to preform any essential maintenance and repairs such as securing docks, fixing leaks, etc. This service is available to both mainland and water access cottages. A beautiful new custom home on Sydenham Lake needed stairs down so the homeowners could enjoy the water. This project started with a clean slate, but now; sono tubes, landings, stairs, and decking are taking shape. The boys are hard at work to get this one wrapped up before winter.

These homeowners wanted to squeeze every last moment of water access that they could, but all good things come to an end for another season. We removed this dock after Thanksgiving. The water was getting chilly but it's always a pleasure working on Eagle Lake.

Chimney removal and cap in downtown Kingston. This chimney was crumbling and falling into the alley below. So we removed the old bricks to a safe height and capped it to prevent future leaks. Thanks for the metal cap

Septic repair for a water access only cottage on Eagle Lake made possible by the right equipment and muscle power. Our barge makes work on the water possible.

2 barge loads hauled to the dump, full fall cleanup, tree removal, brush removal, cottage winterization, septic repair, docks pulled, and some serious sweat equity got this family cottage on Eagle Lake back to beautiful. @ Eagle Lake (sjö i Kanada, Ontario, Frontenac County)

Wood sheds for a beautiful log cabin on Gould Lake. One large one for the wood stove in the house and another down by the lake for the campfire. Not only did Misty Cove build these sheds we also cut and split the wood for the owner so they can spend more time relaxing by the lake.

West Basin of Loughborough Lake. This dock was pushed on shore by the ice last winter. The underwater anchors and chains were also dragged out of place by the ice. Misty Cove was able to re-float the dock, make repairs to the underwater anchors/chains and recenter it in front of the owner's shore dock. Misty Cove utilized two divers to repair the underwater weights, and chains as well as inspected the dock and anchoring system.
