I love all the pretty details at a wedding, and I really love seeing wedding cake on the menu.
It’s always a good idea to serve your wedding cake as dessert.

It’s January 21st and we’re just getting back into the swing of things.
We’re about a minute behind, but HAPPY NEW YEAR to every single one of you who follows, supports and loves this crazy little cake shop.

Annie was trusting enough to give us a theme and colour palette and say do your thing!
Let me tell you we had the best time with this.
A vintage Christmas themed sweet table in muted quicksand tones! Now that’s our thing.

Not having a traditional wedding cake, we think mini cakes (Christmas themed or any vibe) would make incredible favours.

Throwing back to my favourite winter wedding.
Annie and Yuri went through four different postponement dates and many battles to get to this beautiful holiday themed wedding.
Together with some of my favourite vendor friends .co we made some real wedding magic happen.

When and shared a vision of a black wedding cake we were so excited.
I mean we love a traditional white wedding cake, but this was so dramatic.

To more black wedding cakes.

The moodiest most beautiful table setting ever.
Swooning over this minimal set up, the black flatware and a minute for these emotional cloche - it was almost as if they were breathing, the fog gently rolling inside.
An incredible day.

This wedding was in a word epic!
Some other words beautiful, goth, romantic and tender.

and reached out with a unique wedding them. They wanted a “dead wedding” and if you know us at all, we’re always looking for something different.
We knew immediately this was a love story we needed to be a part of.
Guests dressed in black, an intimate affair with 60 of their closest friends and family.

The white canvas was a perfect minimal spot adorned with a reclaimed arch, dried foraged florals, mushrooms steaming up cloches and a black wedding cake made this wedding a dream.
