Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day.
It is the day we stop to remember the animals we lost…
our pets,
our foster animals,
animals who served,
the homeless,
…and those we could not save.
Every animal rescue - every vet team - every person - who has lived with, cared for, loved, or tried to save an animal, understands. If you are reading this, very likely you understand.

We need YOU to take the lead in organizing small teams to execute a few memorable fundraising events each year.
You are not working alone…we need you to see the big picture and assemble a team to execute the tasks!
Highlights:
Tap into the knowledge and wisdom of current volunteers to brainstorm ideas to create events. We are keen to help and be given tasks!
Actively look for, and work with, potential donors.
Be a computer/email/Facebook/Messenger guru.
Adore details, scheduling, communicating and assigning tasks to others 😄
Volunteer Coordinator Position:

We need you if you love collaboration! In this role, you would work alongside the Events coordinator and social media team.
Highlights:
Your job would be to gather volunteers to get the job done, whatever that may be. Silent auction? You are on it! Man a festival booth? You are the go-to person to do the reach out and get that booth manned! Foster animal needs transporting from A to B and back to A?
You help find those special volunteers to get that done!
Creative? Work with our social media team to come up with fresh new ideas to recruit new volunteers.
There are many little things we need to organize volunteers around, and a few larger events. We need that key person who knows what the heck is going on and where people are and who is available!
And of course, you love, love, love animal rescue work!

We are lucky to also have the support of Mainstreet Unique Innisfail and Pet Valu in Didsbury AB, not only hosting our furry friends but also sharing!
🔵Asking for donations makes everyone weary so we appreciate when you spread the love 🥰 Bottom line is Every.Single.Rescue is overwhelmed and in need, so we know the ask is…a lot and ongoing. That is why we are so thankful to organizations like SkipTheDepot who partner with nonprofits and charities so supporters can donate through cans, rather than dollars. Sharing alternatives to cash is a win-win for us all in this tricky economic climate 😊
🔵 Finally- LIKES are actually helpful! It gives us a sense of our reach and helps us fine tune how to get our message across. Mostly though, it shows us there is a community who cares. We need that 😊

🩷Flashback Friday Celebration🩷
Devon, Tracy, Autumn and Kelly fell in love with these three sweethearts and added to their family one RF furry at a time ❤️❤️ We are so very grateful to you all for giving Pepper, Willa, and Dasher such fantastic lives! Here is what Tracey (mom, and also one of our incredible supporters and RF volunteers) had to say!
PEPPER
One year ago (yesterday) we brought this sweetheart home from Mainstreet Unique Innisfail- best decision ever!!! Pepper is affectionate, vocal, cuddly, mischievous and brings a lot of joy to our home💜
WILLA
Our sweet girl loves hanging out in the yard, relentlessly swinging Barbies by their golden blonde hair, opening cupboards and drawers with ease and helping with herself to some treats, manning the water tap and putting Pepper in his place along with occasionally giving him some love💕
DASHER
Dasher is loving, affectionate and cuddly. He has his own pillow on our bed and sleeps just like a little boy with his head on the pillow! He definitely knows what he wants and gets his point across! He goes to work with his dad and has a cozy “desk bed” and loves his walks and watching TLC with his mom. He has been on many family trips and everyone wants to love on him. We are so grateful to have him- the last Harbin (China) dog on his transport to be adopted. Thankful to his foster mom Dianne K for trusting us to care for this beautiful boy💙

- all of the things required for your foster like crates, beds, toys….
- mentoring/guidance
Your Commitment?
- a warm, safe home (a dedicated room in your home will work well if that what you can offer)
- your love and care
- transport to/from vet appointments when needed (although other team members may be able to help)
- transport to groomer (if needed)
- a commitment to see your foster through to adoption
