Let me give 2 logical reasons and see if anyone can add more to it...
1. Momentum from Monday: We ease into the workweek on Monday, and employees hit their stride by Tuesday.
Monday is often spent catching up on emails, gist of the weekend and planning, setting a solid foundation for the week.
2. Peak Energy Levels: Many people are well-rested from the weekend and carry over some of that energy into Tuesday. By midweek, energy levels start to dip, making Tuesday a sweet spot for productivity.
