This week, the VIC team and Derek White, Regional Sales Manager for New Flyer and MCI, opened the doors of NFI's state-of-the-art lab - the VIC - to the City of Santa Rosa, California.

During this jam-packed event, the Santa Rosa CityBus team received a hands-on experience of NFI's innovative mobility solutions through VIC's interactive presentations, cutting-edge displays, and the New Flyer Anniston manufacturing facility tour.

Yesterday, our own Rex Colorado, Regional Sales Manager, joined Embark and Oklahoma City's ribbon-cutting ceremony dedicated to the launch of RAPID – the region's first bus rapid transit (BRT) service. The RAPID Northwest BRT route is powered by nine , high performance Xcelsior® CNG 40-foot buses, equipped with luxury seating and amenities to provide an advanced passenger experience.

Earlier this month, GoRaleigh launched Wake Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) New Bern Avenue - the first BRT in North Carolina, proudly powered by seven New Flyer Xcelsior® five-door 60-foot buses.

New Flyer's Chris Dabbs, Regional Sales Manager, joined GoRaleigh's grand ceremony opening the new FTA-funded line, featuring Dr. Yvette Taylor, FTA Regional Administrator; Joey Hopkins, Secretary of Transportation NCDOT; Mayor Mary Ann Baldwin; and Mayor ProTem Corey Branch.

Yesterday, New Flyer welcomed visitors from Winnipeg's sister city Lviv to our Winnipeg, MB, manufacturing facility.

We had the opportunity to guide the delegation from through our state-of-the-art facility, sharing insights into our processes and showcasing New Flyer's advanced transit .

Antelope Valley Transit Authority (AVTA) launched its annual Stuff-a-Bus Holiday Toy Drive, a initiative to collect toys and clothing for the Antelope Valley community's children in need. New Flyer and Motor Coach Industries are proud to sponsor AVTA's to help make the season brighter for local children.

Beginning November 22 through December 11, AVTA's Stuff-a-Bus Holiday Toy Drive will host five events; future dates are:

🎁 December 2, from 7 pm - 9 pm, 2023 Christmas Community Benefit Concert
🎁 December 3, from 10 am - 4 pm, the West Palmdale Walmart
🎁 December 9, from 5 pm - 9 pm, a Magical BLVD Christmas
🎁 December 10, from 10 am - 4 pm, the West Lancaster Walmart

The 2023 initiative will come to an end on December 16 with the distribution of donations at the Holiday Drive-Thru Grocery and Toy Giveaway at AVTA.

Johanna served as a Sargent, Military Police 31B, in the US Army and US Army Reserves from 2003 to 2014. In her role, she protected property and the lives of individuals on Army installations by enforcing military laws and regulations. Johanna joined the New Flyer team in 2021, starting as an Assembler and now holds the position of Quality Assurance Technician.

Jeff served in the US Air Force as a C-5/C-141 Crew Chief. As an airman in the US Air Force, he oversaw daily operations and managed pre-flight and post-flight inspections on his assigned aircraft. Jeff is a team member of New Flyer; since joining the organization in 1999, he has held many roles, including Lead Hand, Assembly Technician, and Cell Leader.
