Colour Of The Day: PPG1240-2 Niagara Falls. With a long weekend coming up in Ontario, why not pick a colour named after a natural wonder that will be a popular spot to visit this weekend? Soft blue that pairs well with cool whites & blue toned greys.

Recent deck, fence & pergola staining job in Oakville. Customer wanted the most natural looking finish they could get that would still protect the wood properly. Mission accomplished.

Colour Of The Day: PPG1076-4 Cuppa Coffee from PPG Paints. I really like this colour because it gives a cozy, comforting feel without being too dark. It just feels like your favourite sweater on a fall day for your walls.

Deck rehab project from west Hamilton. Customer wanted their deck to be "fun & usable" while making it "pest free". We removed the old lumber, installed new deckboards and railings but most importantly, we "pest proofed" her deck.
We dug a trench approximately 9" deep around the perimeter of her deck. We attached chicken wire near the base of the deck facing, staked it into the ground with metal tent pegs and created a fastened metal barrier to discourage the previous tenants (skunks & raccoons at various points) from returning. We back filled the area with stone.

Recent deck rehab in Hamilton. Expanded the size of their BBQ deck, increased the size of their main deck and added set of handrails on the new stairs to improve accessibility.

Deck rehab project we performed on Hamilton Mountain. Removed old deck boards, built in planters and old bbq deck. Created a new bbq deck, expanded the area of the deck and covered it all in new composite.

Colour Of The Day: Sico 6166-42 Cool Green. With the crazy heat from last week giving way seasonal temperatures, why not salute Cool Green? Inviting colour with surprising depth.

Before and after photos of recent deck project in Burlington. Originally, we were going to go with a solid stain and hide the age of the wood.
Instead, we replaced a large amount of cedar, busted our butts to sand everything to virtually new and applied a translucent stain.
Wanted a nautical feel with the pool and it was mission accomplished.

Wasaga Beach Kitchen Cabinet Painting. Took this job up in cottage country. Went up early on a Saturday morning. Removed cabinet doors/ drawer, degreased the cabinets and primed cabinets on the Saturday.
Stayed overnight, put two coats of paint on the cabinets & took the doors and drawers back to our shop. Degreased, primed & painted two coats of paint on doors & drawers as well as installing new hinges & k***s.
Returned to the cottage on the Sunday following & re-installed everything. Customers were extremely happy with the work.

Deck refinishing project up in Mount Hope from the long weekend. Had requests for quotes from two neighbours already.

Colour Of The Day: PPG1024-5 Stonehenge Greige from PPG Paints. While shown here in a living room, this also a fantastic colour when painting exterior brick or stucco. Pairs up nicely with black accents on exteriors.

Colour Of The Day: 6218-42 Ginger Root from Sico. Like this colour because it is a neutral with some depth. It provides a great backdrop for art, furniture & drapery while adding to the charm of the room.

What I call a "zombie deck". It's really dead but somehow, it's still able to function. Probably should call them "Frankenstein decks" but zombies are popular. 🤣Older couple on a tight budget who were selling to downsize. Made sure everything was safe & solid. Colour Of The Day: 6169-41 Flemish Blue from Sico. Deck Deck Goose used this colour in an exterior solid stain a few years ago to stain a poolside cabana. Customer wanted a "water's edge" feel & I think they nailed it.

Colour Of The Day: 6176-31 Bright Sky from Sico. I know some people look at this & see a feminine lavender. I see violet with enough grey to soothe the soul, or at least your walls.
