On August 15, 2024, members of CRT, STRT and Patrol executed a search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of 21st Street East in Prince Albert. Police seized 1074.4 grams of methamphetamine, 11 grams of co***ne, $1710.00, ammunition, and assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.
Zan Rasmussen, male, 23 years old, Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Breach of Release Order.
Taylor Billette, female, 25 years old, Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking, and Breach of Release Order.
Justin Ryder, male, 33 years old, Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, and Breach of Release Order.
The Prince Albert Police Service have charged four individuals in regards to the July 17, 2024 weapons complaint that occurred in the 300 block of 9th Avenue East where an exchange of gunfire between a vehicle and a residence was reported. On arrival Police located evidence of gun shots being fired at a residence and it was confirmed no one in the residence was injured.
Later that evening, Police were notified that a female was at the Victoria Hospital with non-life threatening injuries consistent with a gunshot wound.
Our Proactive Policing Unit (PPU) led this investigation and the following persons have been arrested and charged:
- Jelena Lafluer, age 22, charged with Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, Careless Use of a Firearm, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Possession of a Firearm without a License, & Occupant of a Motor Vehicle containing a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm. Information #991275556
- Tyler Keenatch, age 30, charged with Intentionally Discharge a Firearm at a Place, Careless Use of a Firearm, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Possession of a Firearm without a License, Possess a Firearm while Prohibited, & Bail Violations. Information #9912755829
- Prosper Daignault, age 28, charged with Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, Discharge a Firearm at a Moving Vehicle, Discharge a Firearm Causing Bodily Harm, Careless Use of a Firearm, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Aggravated Assault, Occupant of a Motor Vehicle containing a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm, Breach of Probation, & Possession of a Firearm While Prohibited. Warrants have been issued for the arrest of:
- Justin Morin, age 38, charged with Assisting Escape Knowing a Firearm was Recklessly Discharged & Occupant of a Motor Vehicle containing a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm. Information #991275555

On August 2, 2024, members of our Crime Reduction Team executed a search warrant at a residence in the 700 block of 28th Street East in Prince Albert. We seized 177 grams of co***ne, $11,457.00 cash and found further evidence to support drug trafficking. Two Alberta men, Jerrell Halladeen age 26, and Mohamud Islow age 36, have been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Co***ne and Possessions of Proceeds of CrimeBoth have made their first court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court.

The subject of a missing persons investigation has been located deceased. On June 14, 2024, at approximately 6:36 pm, the Prince Albert Police Service received notification from a Search Team they had located a deceased adult individual in the North Saskatchewan River in the area of O’Grady Lane. Teams were on the water conducting proactive searches for a missing person. The Prince Albert Police Service, with assistance from the Prince Albert Fire Department, conducted the recovery from the river. The deceased’s identity has been confirmed to be 27-year-old Dominic Custer. Mr. Custer was the subject of a missing person investigation and had last been seen on June 8, 2024. The Criminal Investigations Division and Office of the Chief Coroner are investigating and an autopsy is scheduled for early next week.
On June 14, 2024, at approximately 2:35 am, the Prince Albert Police Service received a call for service for a person in the 500 block of 12th Street East vandalizing vehicles. Patrol members responded to the area, located, and arrested a youth nearby. The youth was found to be in possession of a window breaking tool and a knife. Upon confirming his identity it was discovered the youth had an outstanding arrest warrant for breach of probation and was to abide by a court ordered curfew.
The 16-year-old male has been charged with Mischief under $5000 (x11), Attempted Theft of Motor Vehicle, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose, Obstruction, and Breach of Probation.
Police are encouraging residents in the 500 block of 12th Street East and surrounding area to inspect their vehicles for vandalism. Anyone wishing to report related vandalism or with information otherwise believed to be relevant is asked to call the Prince Albert Police Service at 306-953-4222.
Members of the Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team and the Prince Albert Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team have concluded a weapons investigation by laying multiple charges on two Prince Albert men.
On June 11, 2024 the Prince Albert Police Service Crime Reduction Team, with the assistance of the Prince Albert Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team, conducted a vehicle stop in the 2700 block of 15th Avenue East. As a result of the investigation two males were arrested and a loaded 9mm handgun was seized.
Ryan Bear, 30, and Myles Keighley, 28, both from Prince Albert, are charged with several criminal code fi****ms offences. They made their first court appearance on June 12, 2024 in Prince Albert Provincial Court.

Prince Albert Police Service is asking for the public’s assistance locating 27-year-old Dominic CUSTER. He was last seen on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 in the 200 block of River Street East wearing a black hat, black/white sweater, and dark blue jeans. Dominic CUSTER is described as 5’4”in height, 140lbs, slim build, dark brown shoulder length wavy/curl hair, brown eyes, and has a tattoo on left forearm (peace symbol) and right forearm (blunt image). Dominic CUSTER also goes by the nickname “ChooChooMan”, has a scar on his top left lip and scalp.
Dominic CUSTER is believed to be in the Prince Albert area. If you have seen Dominic CUSTER or have information on where He currently is, please contact the Prince Albert Police Service at 306-953-4222.
