We offer unique rush & mobile services, as well as interior design, project management and residential drafting and design for custom homes & multi-family properties!

Arkhouse is looking fill a Part-Time, Work from Home Position for a CAD Certified Technician!

Are you ready to join our energetic, driven and growing business? This opportunity also has potential to turn into a Full Time position in the future with extensive room for additional growth.

We are seeking an experienced or entry level professional dedicated to growing their career. Must be driven, goal oriented, and passionate for residential home design. This person enjoys pursuing excellence and has an eye for detail. They are able to meet deadlines and are willing to excede expectations as a self-motivated individual.

This is 90% Work from Home/Remote unless needed on project worksites or in our office in Steinbach, MB for Team Meetings on an occasional basis.

Requirements:

-Must have 1-5 years experience in residential design and drafting. However, we may be willing to train the right person if they recently graduated with their CAD Drafting Certificate.

-Must have CAD Drafting Certificate or Equivalent Experience.

-Must be proficient in Softplan. (Owning Softplan is considered an asset).

-Must have a valid Manitoba driver's license and reliable vehicle.

-Must own a PC with a high graphics card and processing power capable of running design programs.

-Knowledge of the current National Building Code.

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.

-Excellent Communcation Skills, Problem Solving and Professional Customer Service.

-English language is a must. Bilingual an asset but not necessary.

Responsibilities:

-Consulting New + Existing Clients for new and ongoing projects.

-Admin + Assistant duties such as answering phone calls/Emails and online office work.

-Drafting new homes, marketing plans and additions.

-Outsourcing new clients with additional commission bonuses

-Performing site visits and taking on site measurements in Winnipeg and surrounding area.

Pay based on experience on an hourly or contract basis.
