Baysville, Ontario Canada. Central part of Muskoka. Lake of Bays
The Baysville Community Group would like to thank everyone who contributed, attended and supported this huge community event -the 34th Annual Walkabout was one of the best! It was an amazing day with picture perfect weather - thousands of people “walked about” our beautiful little village.
Thank you to the volunteers who delivered items around the village on Friday night, did the set-up and take down of the gates and main stage tent area on Saturday and gathered the garbage during the day. Thank you to the volunteers who welcomed visitors at the gates with a friendly greeting and provided assistance throughout the day. A very special thank you to our many first time volunteers - this event would not be possible without you!
Thank you to the Baysville Fire Department for providing children with up close and hands on demonstrations, the Lions Club for the delicious pancake breakfast, Bethune United Church for the tasty BBQ and the Judo studio for the demonstrations throughout the day. Thank you to the local business and residents for allowing us hook into your electrical supply and for giving up the use of your yards and driveways for the day.
If you have any ideas or suggestions for our 35th Walkabout in 2025, we’d love to hear from you. Drop us a line at [email protected]
