Hi everyone,
Today PCO emailed our Cowichan Lake Pickleball Club Members a Renewal Notice for 2024.
The message included was incorrect and was for last year's prorated renewal.
Our renewal and new membership for 2024 is $25.00 for the full year, which you will see on the PCO website when you renew. You can renew with the link sent in the PCO email and that will auto-fill your profile for an easy renewal.
We apologize for the confusion.
Happy Holidays!

Thanks Gurmail for your lesson with the Scouts of Lake Cowichan! 15 boys/girls had the chance to receive instructions and play!
Is anyone interested in volunteering and organizing this?
I am contacting you on behalf of the Cowichan Sportsplex. We are organizing our second annual Cowichan Sport & Recreation Fair to be hosted on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 from 11:00am-3:00pm. This is a free event for both the public and for organizations to participate. Your organization is exactly what we would like to feature at our Fair. If last years' event is any indication of this year's success, we will be expecting hundreds of attendees this year again. I've attached our promotional poster for your convenience. I've also added the link for the registration at the bottom.
We have two main avenues to feature your organization - hosting a booth or providing a demonstration (or both!).
For 'booths', you will have a 20'x30' (roughly) space. Both hard surfaced and powered booths are very limited. You have creative freedom to do what you would like at your booth to promote your group - pamphlets, medals/awards, photos, tablet with videos running, equipment, etc. We suggest you bring your own tables and chairs and if you have a tent, to consider bringing it just in case.
The demonstrations will be performed in the middle of the outdoor track. Your group will get a half hour timeslot plus set up/take down time if needed.
I am so hopeful that you will consider joining our event to showcase what the region has to offer. We also are aware that this is a busy time of the year for many organizations. If you are unable to attend, we ask you to consider offering the public any door prizes. We are hoping to offer prizes - but with a twist. We're hoping to be able to offer free registrations for lessons or discounted registrations for the public as incentives to register and try out new activities.
If you have any questions whatsoever, please feel free to reach out. We require responses no later than April 28th, so we can plan the best event we can.
SO EXCITED!
