Healthy Body & Mind
Guiding busy moms to find energy, confidence, & balance through quick, efficient movement & nutrition
šMotherhood will never be excuse. Motherhood will always be my reason.
I want my family to see me taking care of myself both mentally and physically, eating whole and nutritious foods, trying new recipes and lifting new PRs. I want them to see me doing the best I can to take care of myself so that they do the best they can to take care of themselves. I want them to push themselves to try new things. I want them to love themselves at every step on their journey. To be strong. To be confident. The list goes on.
So no, having two kids and a very busy schedule will never be my excuse. It will always be my top reason.

In my āØself-loveāØ era š
I am 110% the happiest Iāve ever been. And it feels good.
Okay, okay. Iām kind of sucking at this social media business lately.
But itās been a CRAZY few weeks!
New clients, birthday parties, bachelorette planning, and spending time with my girls!
However, today was a big day! I accepted a permanent position AND finished my 25th ride at .
I promise to be more active on here but please have some patience with me (and pray for me) as I celebrate my baby girls 10th birthday this weekend (š©) and my besties bachelorette next weekend!
Last night I walked out of spin without putting my shirt back on.
I know, I know. Youāre all probably thinking āso what?ā
But let me explain. Iāve struggled so much since having my youngest with my confidence. But since starting back to spin, and really focusing on my own health and wellness, I just feel better. It may not be a physical thing but more a mental one.
I know Iām taking care of my body and mind, and that feels good. So good that I donāt feel like I have to cover up anymore.
Thanking myself for putting myself first, moving my body, lifting weights, and eating right, and thanking for creating an environment full of support and encouragement.
šSeeing as though we are in the midst of a heat wave, here are some manageable tips for staying hydrated!
āØBenefits of proper hydration:
ā¢Removes toxins
ā¢Cushions joints
ā¢Energy boost
ā¢Enhances/aids metabolism
ā¢Clearer skin
ā¢And sooooo much more!
šJust a little reminder that strength comes from outside of comfort, from working hard, from figuring it out no matter the challenge.
Strength comes from doing the things you thought you couldnāt. š
Just to celebrate all the good things happening this week.. šš

If the last two days are any indication of how this summer is going to go, I canāt wait šš»
Weāre in the final weeks of school and this morning I was just reflecting on all thatās happened since my mat leave ran out in September 2023.
ā¢I got a full-time job in the school system.
ā¢I completed my second practicum.
ā¢Iām halfway through my third and final practicum.
ā¢I completed my Registered Behavioural Technician courses.
ā¢I survived another busy hockey season with my oldest.
ā¢I took my first kid free trip in five years.
ā¢Iāve consistently helped six clients towards healthier habits and choices.
I know Iāve been super inconsistent when it comes to posting and managing my online presence- but Iām determined to kick things up a notch this summer and carry the momentum onward.
If youāve read this far, thank you for being here!
šProgress can be slow but quitting wonāt speed things up.

šIf youāre tired of feeling overwhelmed with your health and fitness regimen, send me a message! Letās work through those barriers together, get you moving, and KEEP you moving!
šDuring a staff meeting yesterday, we were asked how we take care of ourselves. One of the top answers during this conversation was movement.
Lifting weights, yoga, dancing, cardio, any type of movement.
Itās actually proven that exercise releases endorphins and serotonin in the brain that help improve your mood. So not only are you doing good things for your body, but also your mind.
šThe next time youāre in a slump or just feeling down, push yourself to get up and get moving. See how fast your mood improves.
šNot sure where to start? I have a few spaces available for 1-1 coaching! Send me a message š
Gone are the days of avoiding mirrors and having my picture taken. Of hiding behind baggy clothes and disliking my reflection. Of stress eating and food guilt.
Now itās time for self-love, accepting my body for what it is and whatās itās done, being proud of my postpartum/breastfeeding journey. For working on my health and wellness to be healthy and well. For me, for my kids, for my family.
Now itās time to focus. To grow. To learn.
And itās okay to be working on my health and wellness while still fully loving and accepting myself as I am today. ā„ļø
This week is full of new things and Iām equally nervous and excited!
šDo you struggle with any of these points?
šI have room for new nutrition clients! Letās start creating healthier habits and increasing your energy through proper fuel!
So far, my March break has consisted of cleaning every wall, baseboard, piece of furniture, shelf, picture frame, mirror, window, and everything else in between in 80% of my house.
Howās your March break going?!
Letās try some random facts about myself since Iām not feeling so well and have hardly left the couch.
1- Iāve never been stung by a bee or wasp.
2- I used to swim for the NAIADS (synchronized swimming)
3- and I hated the gym when we went as a swim team.
4- Iām petrified of space.
5- Iām obsessed with trashy reality TV (have you watched the new seasons of LIB or VR?)
6- I love to learn. If I could go to school forever, I would.
7- Iām an absolute baby when Iām sick.
Iām so thankful to have you here, in this little corner of this big app that Iāve made for empowering, guiding, and supporting our health and wellness journeys.
šIf youāve read this far, tell me one random fact about yourself! And thanks for being here!

šIf youāre tired of feeling overwhelmed with your health and fitness regimen, send me a message! Letās work through those barriers together, get you moving, and KEEP you moving!
šHereās why!
š Simply put, you wonāt achieve your goals by lifting less than your daily lifestyle requires.
ā¢Whether your goals are weight loss, muscle gain, toning, or anywhere in between itās important to challenge your body. Lifting heavier than your daily lifestyle requires, and gradually increasing weights is my favourite type of progressive overload.

šMeal prep tips to make the process less time consuming and easier on you (and your wallet)!
šIāve recently stepped up my meal prep game and started meal planning and prepping my lunches, snacks, and suppers! This is such a big weight lifted off me on busy hockey/gym nights, or just days where Iām too tired to cook something healthy for my family.
šDo you do weekly meal planning or prepping?! What is your biggest tip to make it a smooth process?!
The world is wrong side up. It needs to be turned upside down to be right side up. š
šAre you someone who struggles with consistency, and holding yourself accountable?
šIāve really taken a look at my healthy journey and realized Iām killing my workouts and failing on my nutrition. Because of this, Iām not seeing the results I want.
šSo, Iām hoping to make a group of people who need the community support to stay focused and crush their goals (letās be real, I need it too) using the 75 soft challenge rules. There would be a group chat for your wins, struggles, daily affirmations, and motivation. As well as calendars to visually mark off your success.
šThis group is absolutely FREE and I would like to have the group together by this weekend!! @@
šWHO IS IN?! Drop your names below!
Hi š
Just me popping in to tell you Iām still here!
Between getting the flu, snow storms, and my own mental blockages. I have been struggling to show up. Not just on here either but in my personal life as well.
Iām realizing that the more I avoid it, the more anxiety I feel.
So here I am, just saying hi and putting my face back out here!

š What are you doing to make 2024 your best year yet?!
#2024
New gym, same goals.
I even upped my weights on two exercises. Super impressed by the workout room at in Moncton.
šMade it here. And thatās on consistency.
Did I want to? Not really.
Did I anyway? Damn right I did. šŖ
