To say that I love what I do is an understatement! I left my daytime job back in November right before I sent my mare up to Pritchard to be a horse and heal and giving me this time to focuss on my goals , my passion. Being able to create creations that iv had in my head for a while now ! When there is a personal relationship knowing that your little one is gonna love on one or these lovleys melts My heart being able to make my dream a reality. I have lots more creations coming but I thought I would share a little about me .

I have always had a passion for crocheting, i was taught to crochet at a young age, I belive I was 10 or 11 at the time after nagging my mom for months she finally sat down with my sister and I to teach us , my sister did about 2 stitches and threw her hands up and I ended up finishing a whole blanket which I think my mom has actually. As I got more and more into it I discovered that I loved it and I began giving away blankets all threwout high school I started getting orders . So naturally I think every gf of mine has a blanket that I have made them over the years and still messege me telling me how special that gift was . After that I had thought to myself why not turn this into something. So here we are! I have been talking about doing this for years! Sorry iv been a little Mia, life has been a little bit crazy lately. I'm heading up to Pritchard next month to see my horse so will be taking some much needed time to relax

Aleena loves to dive right in as soon as I pull out yarn to work on a project so much that she will run off my yarn and I usually have to chase her 3 or 4 times to get it back , she cracks me up . Or she lays ontop. Gotta love kittens ( well she's a year now but still ) lol

My name is Violet,and I love everything and anything.
Some fun facts about me

✨️ I have a horse also named Violet
✨️ I have 2 cats
✨️ I also have a photography business,
✨️I am originally from Prince George ( born and raised)
✨️ I have a big family ( 2 ) actully

So why crocheting

I have been crocheting as long as I could possibly remember. At the age of 10,my mom would always sit down and crochet,and I kept bugging her and bugging her that I wanted to learn how to crochet. So after a while,she sat down and taught my sister and I how to crochet. Of course, after a few stitches,my sister wanted nothing to do with it . Meanwhile, I finished a whole blanket.
Since then,over the years,I have always given out blankets as gifts to friends and family who were expecting. It wasn't until really covid hit and the face of earth changed that I had thoughts of doing other things and so I picked up my hook and my yarn and I started crocheting other things than just blankets, I googled for other things to so, beanies. Scarfs and soon other things started popping up ,and I got excited !!
it has opened up so many more opportunities for me . I'm the odd one sitting in the corner with my hook and needle in my own little world and the excitement that it brings me .
As noticed by the photo, this is my Girl Violet . She is a 10 year old tboughbred mare who I got after losing my dad 5 years ago, and she is my whole world. I have been in the horse wold for over 10 years now after my good friend introduced me to her guy Punch at the time and I was hooked , I wanted to know everything and anything to do with horses and riding in general. I soon found a trainer and we would go down to the show park and I started taking photos of everything and every horse in sight that I knew I had to buy a good camera. I soon after started working for the show photographer, and he taught me the basics . Fast forward to today, and I wanted to join my passion for horses , photography, and my love for crocheting into something special.
