Wetaskiwin Basketball Club
Intermediate level basketball that plays in the Edmonton Youth Basketball Association. The season runs from the end of September to mid March.
Registration for the Fall/Winter club basketball season is now open. We enter teams in 11U, 13U and 15U age divisions for both boys and girls in the Edmonton Youth Basketball Association. The season runs from mid-September through early March. This is a more competitive league than our local WMBA.
During the season there will be one practice per week in Wetaskiwin. Games are played in Edmonton and area, and will usually be 1 game each weekend.

Registration for EYBA basketball for the fall/winter season is coming up soon. We will be having an ID night for those interested in playing basketball with the Wetaskiwin Basketball Club on Tuesday August 22nd. All interested players are asked to attend and we will determine whether there are enough players to make teams in each age division and it will help to place our teams in the appropriate division.
We will have a sign at the door that will also be our pre-registration. An adult must come to sign in your child with your child's name, date of birth, address, contact email and cell phone.
We are also looking for coaches and managers for teams. These are needed to ensure that we can field a team.

The ID night will be at Clear Vista School gymnasium. Please come prepared to play basketball, with gym shoes and a water bottle.
U11 age group (born 2013 and 2014) come from 6:00-7:00PM
U13 age group (born 2012 and 2011) come from 7:00-8:00PM
U15 age group (born 2010 and 2009) come from 8:00-9:00PM

We will be offering teams for boys and girls in the following divisions:

We do not yet have practice times or nights of the week. This is dependent on gym availability. Practices will start the third week of September and games will start September 30/October 1. The season runs through the start of March.
