FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE FAMILY OF OUR LATE BROTHER IN IOTA GALLEON, U.S.A.
Brodas Across Nigeria is proud to announce that $25,502 raised and presented to the family of our late brother in IOTA Galleon, U.S.A.
On the 26th of June, 2024, we lost a brother to hands of our Maker. In response, IOTA presented $10,000 (16,200,000 Naira) to his wife, and the outstanding $15,441 (after $63 bank deductions) was used to set up 529 savings accounts for his four children to support their educational future.
For those that do not know, a 529 account is a tax-exempt savings plan designed to help families save for education expenses, including college, K-12 tuition, and some vocational programs. The funds grow tax-free, and withdrawals are tax-free when used for qualified education expenses.
This loss deeply touched us, but we assure you, Brother, your family is in good hands. We shall meet again someday.

Brothers Across Nigeria aka the Buccaneers Confraternity - Honoring Our Commitment to Community Service.
The recent adoption of a major highway in New Jersey by the state's chapter of Brothers Across Nigeria aka the Buccaneers Confraternity stands as a testament to our organization's unwavering commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
This partnership with the Government of New Jersey - the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) exemplifies our ongoing drive to positively impact the communities we serve, both locally and globally.
While we celebrate this achievement, we understand the gravity of the responsibility it represents. We are not satisfied with merely reaching milestones; we are dedicated to sustaining and amplifying our efforts to ensure tangible, long-lasting benefits for the communities we engage with.
Here's how this recent initiative reflects our continuous commitment to CSR objectives:
Building Meaningful Partnerships: Collaborating with reputable organizations like the NJDOT allows us to leverage collective expertise and resources for greater impact.
Addressing Community Needs: Highway adoption directly addresses community needs by fostering safer, cleaner, and more aesthetically pleasing roadways.
Cultivating Environmental Responsibility: By actively contributing to beautification efforts, we promote environmental consciousness and encourage sustainable practices.
Encouraging Civic Engagement: This initiative serves as a catalyst for wider civic engagement, inspiring others to volunteer and contribute to their communities.
However, our commitment to CSR extends far beyond this single project. We remain dedicated to:
Expanding our reach: Identifying and executing community-driven initiatives across various sectors, both locally and internationally.
Promoting education and empowerment: Investing in programs that address critical needs like access to education, healthcare, and economic opportunities.
Fostering cultural understanding: Building bridges between communities through cultural exchange and dialogue.
The New Jersey highway adoption is not an isolated event; it is a symbol of our ongoing journey towards fulfilling our CSR objectives. We remain committed to leveraging our resources, partnerships, and collective spirit to create a lasting positive impact on the communities we serve.
By consistently upholding our CSR values, we aim to not only honor the responsibility that comes with our past achievements but also inspire future generations to join the fight for a brighter tomorrow.
Following the words of Erin Gruwell - If you can change enough communities you can change the world.
We would look to change the world, one step at a time.
Congratulations to our brothers in New Jersey and its surrounding cities.
