Happy International Day Of Yoga! Every year, Yoga Journal honors the practice and helps spread awareness of the holiday by spotlighting yogis around the world.
Meditation and mindfulness can take many forms. If you’ve ever driven somewhere and couldn’t remember how you got there, or you feel like you can just never catch up, perhaps trying to be mindful and present could be quite beneficial. Tasks such as brushing your teeth, the sensation of squeezing the tube, the smell of the paste, the sound of the water running, the feeling the bristles against your teeth, all of these “felt” sensations can help slow life down and focus the brain. Finish with three long deep breaths, and a smile of gratitude in the mirror. ❤️ namaste
