There is only one thing that no one can take away, that is wisdom

You come to do the total time and opportunity, do not do things always find an excuse to come.

This world, there are two things we can do: First, hurry, the second is to stop and see if you have a good attitude, a good attitude is a good companion's life, pleasing health.

More to understand and respect others, Huaikang tolerance gratitude, tolerance is a virtue is a kind of wisdom, be tolerant to diversity is so vast, thank you friends, is that they give you help; appreciate your enemies is that they allow you to change strong

Our wonderful community continues to be incredibly generous as we embark on our FOURTH year on Burnaby Mountain! On behalf of the students, staff and University Highlands community, we would like to express our appreciation and thanks, and recognize the organizations, businesses or individuals who have contributed to our school. There are always so many people to thank, we hope we have not omitted anyone.

The school is a partnership between the Province, the Burnaby School Board of Education, the City of Burnaby, Simon Fraser University and the UniverCity Trust.

Formerly know as the East Annex, the school had undergone a renovation resulting in a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Design) Gold building. Unique features include recreational space and programming, naturalized play areas, a garden, and outdoor classroom. The school opened its doors to students in September 2010.

University Highlands Elementary is central to the vibrant community that is UniverCity on top of Burnaby Mountain. The Ministry of Education approved the much anticipated building of the school in January 2009. A naming contest was held in early 2010 and in April the Burnaby Board of Education selected University Highlands.
