Re*****on 5 1940s compact typewriter.
This sweet little typewriter would make a great conversion piece in any home .

A little history on this piece…
E. Re*****on and sons manufactured the famous Re*****on fire arms and also typewriters. The fire arms side of things started in 1816. In 1873 they came out with their first typewriter.
Most original typewriters were heavy and cumbersome. So in 1940 when this new light weight, portable and compact unit hit the market, it was very popular amongst journalists and writers on the go .
