Nice little ash bowl with a mustard strip using milk paint. Finished with original finish. Ash was harvested locally in . Measures 7” in diameter and 3.5” high.
My first carved bowl. This one is made from local birch that I was able to get straight from the log. I’m keeping this one but more coming soon that will be for sale.
After 10 years, I had to retire the first shaving set I made for myself. I made this one today to replace it.

Took the family to Hatley Castle to show them my school.
I spent some time turning last night knowing that this piece was badly cracked. Thought it would be a good piece to practice on. Now I’m not sure it’s all that bad…thoughts?
The talented MJ Woodcraft hand-crafted these lovely twig pots and painted them with Sweet Pickins Milk Paint and finished with Tried and True Wood Finish. Each one has its own personality and the colors he chose do not distract from the beauty of the wood.
