My favourite part about the island is that the second this kid hits the beach, he gets to feel the calm and wonder of playing in the sand.

It’s certainly not easy getting there, especially when we have to fly in the winter, but his joy makes it all worth it.

Hi hello 👋🏻 you may have noticed a name change 🫣

So it’s a new year. Figured it was time for a big change around here, because why not right?!

I’ve missed posting on this page but since my shop is no longer I’ve been searching for a purpose. One other thing that little Finley bright me besides this community was a love of photography. Whether that’s products or my family, it’s been a fun learning journey so far. So that’s what this page will become, a simple little place for me to chronicle my life and my creative outlet 👋🏻 I hope you’ll stick around for it!

Shop update! 🍁

Well the day has come. This isn’t an easy decision, it may not be a final decision, but for now I have decided to close Little Finley.

LFC was my pandemic project. I was on maternity leave with my first when I started sewing. I dove right in and I am so grateful for the friendships, experiences and knowledge this little shop brought me. Things changed though as my little ones have grown. I went back to work to my nursing job over a year ago now, many changes within our home have happened over the last year and more to come as we navigate raising little ones. The timing right now makes sense for me to close this chapter. It doesn’t come lightly to make this choice, in fact I fully intended to come back when I took my break back in the spring. But as life has changed over the last few years, it continued to do so over the summer. I have found the freedom I have gained with taking a step back has been more important than I realized, and although I miss the rush of running this business, I am very settled in our routine now and that brings me more joy than I’d thought.

Thank you again for all the support you all have shown me throughout this journey. I won’t forget it! What is to remain of this account is still being figured out in my brain… I do miss the community so maybe I’ll be back in some capacity eventually! Feel free to stick around, send me a dm or tag me and what not! I definitely am still here in the background ❤️

Grow Tees are a generous fit with extra length for the smaller sizes growing into a classic tee.

Grow Peplums are a lined tank with bunny skirt. Smaller sizes will fit as a tunic length and will grow into a tank peplum top as your child reaches the end of the size range.

This decision has been a long thought out and hard one. I have decided my mental health needs a bit of a break, and to do that, I need to take a step back from something in my life. Unfortunately right now, that has to be Little Finley. I am not planning to be gone long, and I might not even be gone 100%, but I do need some time to reset the shop a bit and take some mental vacation from the hustle and bustle!

So, what does this mean? Our current pre order, and orders and still in production. They will ship within the next 1 week.

A mini spring collection has been planned for our stockists, and a small drop to the website. This will launch late march and will close up the shop for April - May. I plan to be back in June with a summer launch!

Brand rep search is temporarily paused - thank you so much to those who applied! I have saved all your names, I will reach out closer to the shop reopening to see if you’re still interested if I’ve chosen your page!
