DFA FUNDING (Disaster Financial Aid)
A reminder to our community that the deadline for DFA is March 3rd, 2022. If you are in need of support and have not yet applied for funding, we recommend you do so as soon as possible. You do not need to wait for the delivery of documents or a decision from your insurance company-the priority is the submission of your DFA application, which can be withdrawn later, if necessary.
Interior Health has issued this drug poisoning (OD) alert. Please share this information.
Feeling very thankful to my friend Lyle for donating $1500 to help get our work truck for The Endeavour to be Better program on the road.
The team at Endeavour to be Better will be doing junk removal and of course helping with flood victims. If you need stuff taken to the dump from your place we’ll come and do it for a small fee, which will help keep our program going.
It’s generosity from people like Lyle and his wife Lisa that help promote and grow our program 🙏
These people were members of our community, family members, friends, and loved ones. Each one of us can do our part to reduce the stigma which makes it easier to reach out for help.

More hands needed for major cleanup and recovery mission in Merritt “Some have never had a job before. They generally have very, very little, yet they give the most.”
I have to be honest, today was the first day that I saw the destruction from the flooding up close and it was shocking.
The team from the Endeavour to be Better program helped remove contents from a local resident’s basement. This is only a fraction of the stuff that had to be taken out today. Seeing so many personal belongings lining the streets is heart breaking.
Endeavour will be helping families for as long as this process takes. Nicola Valley Shelter and Support Society. Tercel Mansfield Trent Abraham
