A little late with this but it was so awesome to have our first program in the “Mentorship Group” last week. This group will be together throughout the season with monthly ice and video sessions , a fall camp, along with all of these goalies also participating in a summer camp . The goalies received all of their SOM swag and we learned a ton on the ice and also off the ice with our daily off ice lesson. They also set some personal goals on what they would like to improve on the most throughout this year together. So proud of the improvements that Jack Flanagan from the Mount Academy has made in the past 8 months. I can’t wait to see where his game is at in another 8 months that’s for sure. A QMJHL team is about to be very lucky by selecting this 6’4 goalie (tallest goalie in Draft) in the upcoming QMJHL draft. Keep it going Jack! #whynotyou
