🌕 Join Tracy for this women's circle honouring the Blue Moon 🌕
A blue moon occurs when there are two full moons within the same month or astrological season, or four full moons in a season rather than three. The saying “once in a blue moon” suggests that something is rare or unlikely since a blue moon only happens roughly once every two and a half years.
A Blue Moon is like a Full Moon on steroids! The energy is even bigger and brighter, allowing everything to expand.
Blue moons are said to be full of luck and magic, and are the perfect time to craft spells, make a wish, perform rituals, and connect with your intuition. Because blue moons don't happen often, this might symbolize a rare opportunity that is about to find you. Regardless of whether this happens, a blue moon is full of the energy you need to reignite passion and enthusiasm for your dreams so you can start walking towards them.

Celebrate the Legacy & Lifework of Emma Dupree
During Black History Month and beyond, we celebrate the traditions, wisdom and skill of Black herbalists and healers.
We’re grateful for the legacy and lifelong work of Emma Dupree, a community herbalist and grandmother of western herbalism.
Born in 1897 in Falkland, North Carolina, Emma Dupree was known by her family as “that little medicine thing” — a storied symbol of her connection to the land and plant medicine.
Mrs. Dupree cultivated a “garden-grown pharmacy” and spent her days formulating teas, tonics, salves and dried preparations to support the wellness of her community.
In her later years, Emma shared her traditional knowledge with doctors and medical anthropologists seeking to understand the medicinal properties of native plants. In 1992, Mrs. Dupree was awarded the North Carolina Heritage Award, in recognition of her notable contributions to her community.
A documentary about her work and medicine garden was put together by researchers at East Carolina University in 1979.
