We are Cat & Cory Taylor and Larry Taylor; dynamic woodworking family from Kamloops, BC, Canada at your service! We started Knots & Bolts Vintage Salvage in 2015 as an outlet for creative expression, and as something fun to do together while Cat & Cory's kids were asleep (which until recently wasn't very often!), and to give Larry something cool to tinker with during his "retirement". We have a so
ft spot for all things vintage, rusty, crusty and industrial - but especially for the simplicity and authenticity of solid wood. Wood that has already weathered the test of time and that will continue to maintain its beauty and charm for decades to come. In addition to creating our carved wood signs we also build reclaimed wood art and repurpose vintage and industrial items into unique home decor. Our process starts with an idea for a design - we often get ideas and inspiration from our friends, family and our amazing local customers. The idea gets turned into a digital design file which is converted to a set of digital "instructions" for our CNC machine. Cory and his dad Larry cut and stain carefully selected pieces of wood from our locally owned hardware store or from our supply of reclaimed wood. Our stock of salvaged wood comes from various locations throughout Alberta and British Columbia. All of our signs are protected with a clear coat and are triple checked for quality and accuracy. We only create signs that we would (and already do!) have on display in our own home. We always love creating and coming up with new, quirky, fun, and interesting signs. If you have an idea for a sign please let us help you bring it to life! Charming, cute, funny, outlandish or peculiar - we can't wait to hear your ideas! Thanks for supporting our small family run business and for helping us spend time together doing something that we love!

Pretty excited for the upcoming market! Have some new pieces to share. With people asking for some smaller mountains to fit in more places we decided to make these 6 inch mini geometric mountains! We also know shopping for dad can be a task so we created these amazing salmon + lure artwork pieces!
