Some more privacy added to a project I started earlier this year with just lattice work. Again I used these beautiful cedar fence panels from Grove Cedar in Langley. Truly #1 grade and extremely well priced including reasonable delivery costs. Now some cedar hedge along the existing fence line and the privacy is complete. Hopefully before the snow flies.

A complete deck restoration which included power washing, sanding, staining, lattice to keep the critters out and some privacy screens.

This was a wharf restoration project which included power washing, some board replacements and then stained with Sansin DEK two coat process. The client opted out of sanding the wharf which is what would normally done but the results were great.

Here is a recent fence installation. Thanks to Grove Cedar in Langley for their truly #1 grade panels. Sprayed the panels with Sansin top coat giving the panels some great protection from the weather and helps the grain really pop.

I am so far behind on posting completed projects that I think I'm ahead. Here is a small kitchen reno before and afters.

Some additional privacy to the lattice work from a couple of weeks ago. All the cedar was milled, sawn and planed before assembling this privacy screen on the deck railings. The native art the client purchased online and works well with the setting.

Hopes favorite truck stop the Flying J just got a boiler service, fixing an ongoing hot water problem at the busy truck stop. Thank you to Brett Williams with Evergreen Plumbing and Heating (Red Seal) for his outstanding job minimizing the down time, so the retail giant could continue to service their customers.

Out with the old and in with the new. These stairs were originally built almost 40 years ago and it was time for a complete renewal. Very steep terrain made for a challenging build on this project but the clients are feeling way more secure on their new stairs.

This lattice project was rather unique as I started this one right from the cedar log. Using an Alaskan Mill ripped all the slabs and cut the 1x2 planks to make up this roughly 27 foot long privacy fence. Also included are three planting beds for the client to grow something that will climb and provide even more privacy. Now we just need to fill the beds with soil and get planting.

My client wanted some funky new railings for their d**e access so these custom posts and rails were repurposed from the limbs of conifer trees in my own yard that we had trimmed off last year.

Here's a small but extremely helpful project for a client that has a very difficult time moving about. The old single step was just too great a leap and caused them a great deal of pain. The new stairs are a standard run but the rise is down to a level that minimizes the amount of pain for the client. And they love to sit on their patio.

This is one of three bathrooms completed this past winter. This was a one-piece tub and shower and is now just a shower. The base and walls are all made by Maax in the UTILE series. Note to anyone looking to put in a resin-based shower like this or just a tub, order early as there is a six month lead time due to COVID

This garage had not seen a coat of paint for a very long time. The scope of work on this one is to replace the main entry door and install a new set of garage insulated doors. Just so you know the overspray was intentional... :)

This is going back to November of 2020 but this sliding patio door replacement happened because of an exuberant driver spraying an array of gravel as it tore off from this rather quiet dead-end street property. This started as a interior painting job that soon expanded once the blinds were opened to discover the damage to the glass. Glad I had some left over full one inch thick cedar siding in order to repair the outside of this one.

I am so far behind on posting project photos that I do not know if I am duplicating or not. This photo is part of a complete house upgrade. To date this project has seen the laying of engineered hardwood upstairs in this large split level. Painting throughout and more flooring in several other rooms and entryway. Unfortunately my phone has lost some photos but this project consists of renovating a kitchen, two bathrooms and a plethora of outside projects. Will have more photos on this one we progress. Love the bull-nose on these stairs. These were specially made for this project and are all made from the existing engineered hardwood.
