The Lonely

Dear Friends,

The Lonely was formed 8 years ago by dear friends who wanted to recreate the music of Roy Orbison. In that time we have experienced incredible highs and humbling lows.

Now the time has come for the band to wrap up this chapter of our musical lives and let joyous memories of the past resonate on.

We thank all of the friends and fans who have supported the group throughout this journey.

The legacy of The Lonely remains as a tribute and testament to the energy and passion of our brother, friend, and band leader Michael Demers - we love you, dear boy.

It is a very exciting week for The Lonely as we return to the stage with a brand new show and proudly introduce the wonderful vocal and musical talents of Danielle Lebeau Petersen to the stage!

In May 2021, The Lonely said goodbye to founding member lead vocalist and dear friend, Michael Demers. As a band, The Lonely have loved and lost together and will forever be grateful for the experiences and joy we have shared together. Michael’s compassion, energy and voice made so many people happy while on stage and he is and will continue to be greatly missed.

As he wished and articulated, a new chapter begins, and The Lonely is proud to welcome Danielle Lebeau Peterson, a gifted musician steeped in tradition and honesty. As lead vocalists, she and Gord Light deliver all the hits from an era gone by, transporting audiences back in time.
