Mapping Politics Journal
Mapping Politics is a peer-reviewed student-run journal at Memorial University of Newfoundland.
The first edition of Mapping Politics was published in Winter 2009 with articles and reviews from 10 contributors under the leadership of Editor Jillian Terry. Since that first publication dozens of Memorial students have contributed to Mapping Politics as editors, referees and authors. Mapping Politics is a unique opportunity for students at Memorial as the university's only current student journal hosted through OJS.

We are very pleased to present the ninth volume of Mapping Politics!
Head to www.mappingpolitics.ca to check out our latest issue!
Originally an undergraduate journal that published the work of students at Memorial University, the journal is pleased to now offer undergraduate and masters students studying at universities across Canada.
In this volume, we are pleased to present 12 articles from students studying in Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia and Ontario. We are grateful to our volunteer reviewers studying in Newfoundland and Labrador, Ontario and Alberta. Mapping Politics really is turning into a national student-led journal in political science.
We believe that the opportunity to participate in peer-review publishing is a valuable opportunity for all students. The peer-review process can often provide students with in-depth feedback from other students. This is an excellent opportunity to review and consider critical feedback from peers and incorporate it into your work. And it isn't just useful for aspiring academics - research and writing skills, as well as the ability to receive and learn from feedback are useful skills in a wide range of jobs.
Did you miss the deadline to apply to be a Reviewer? No worries, it's been extended to February 25th!
