This new normal can be really scary, and that's understandable as it's a new change.
However, please don't allow yourself to get stuck... You have to learn how to grasp every new day, cherish the moments spent with loved ones, and take time to process and heal. ❤️

As I turn over a new year of age, I take time to reflect on who I was a year ago compared to who I am now. How the individual & impactful experiences have now shaped me.
We go through so much change in a year.
Whether it’s a new job, friendships coming & going, entering secondary education, having kids, grief, or moving to a new province… We go through a lot. 😖
This year I have done a LOT of inner work.
I have processed childhood traumas, which has given me the ability to take a step back & reflect on where my reactions are stemming from & what I need to I address within myself.
I am learning where my comfort levels are, beginning to set boundaries within those comforts, & staying firm on what I need. 🧘♀️
I have gone through times questioning who I am, what I need, & who I want to be. Now I am learning that my experiences have shaped me into the person I am today, & that I can choose how to act based on them.
I can be a person who lives in fear & projects anger & negativity - or - I can understand that my experiences aren’t something I will repeat & live in love & happiness.
This year has supplied me with so many lessons & although they were hard I thankful for them. I am learning how to show up & care for myself, & ultimately how to love myself even more. ❤️

I do my best every day!
Some days I vacuum my ceilings, and some days I can only brush my teeth. 🤷♀️
Either way, I am doing my best to my abilities and where my energy levels are at, and I am allowed to celebrate myself even when it appears I've done the bare minimum.
Don't forget to celebrate and be proud of yourself for doing your best today too! 💜
Fall is here.
Each year the winds get colder & the days get shorter.
We watch as the trees shake their leaves, & animals prepare to hunker down for hibernation.
There are lessons in this.
As trees drop their leaves, they show us how to let go of relationships, jobs, & internal setbacks that no longer serve us.
Animals demonstrate how to prioritize ourselves, nourishing our bodies for difficult months ahead, diving into self seclusion / hibernation.
This is the time to shed what doesn’t serve you, then dive deep into understanding who you are & what aligns with your highest power.
This work prepares us to be in a position to receive & give love when winter comes. ❤️
As we know, crystals boost vibrations and energies, they help channel the energies we desire and they are huge amplifiers.
If crystals are used to boost our energy, why don't we use them to boost the energy of our plants?
I challenge you to give a crystal to one of your plants; give it a week and see how vibrant and happy your plant is!
Don't make yourself small to accommodate others 💜
Reflections on summer:
While there were lessons to be learned (some harder than others), it was filled with love & adventure.
We learned how to take our time, stop & literally smell the flowers. 💐
I took in every moment of nature in its full bloom, as I could.
I am continually learning to find beauty & appreciation in the small things.
I faced fears; conflict resolution with others, allowing myself to ebb & flow better in stressful situations, setting more boundaries, & sitting on a cliffs edge. 😨
Then the season ended on a note of grief.
Within that I learned what I need when I grieve, as everyone processes differently. It’s okay to put myself first, to allow the time & space I need, & I was able to heal some past grief as well.
This summer has been filled with retrogrades - it’s almost like we can’t catch a break. 😅
However, it’s important to remember they take away what doesn’t serve us, teaching us lessons within that, while also putting us on a more aligned path.
Yes, we grieve the relationships, love, situations, & “what if’s” along the way, but we learn to find love & adventure in so many new places & things. ❤️
It's okay to take a rest when you need to. 💜
In order to give everyone 100% you have to give yourself 100%
And sometimes we need to take the day in solitude to achieve that.
That downtime is extremely important for mental health, so take the day and don't feel any guilt for it!

I have been journaling little internal thoughts that I've had, and reflecting back on them helps me see where I can change my thinking.
I've found that since beginning writing, my mindset has improved so much!
And when you improve your mindset, your environment improves and things begin to work in your favor 💚
