Meet our new summer interns! ☀️
Brooke spent a couple summers at Student Painters and we’re lucky to have her with us this summer.
Nathan just graduated high school and we’re honoured to be his first employer

The position is offered under the Canada Summer Jobs grant. Candidates must be 15-30 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada.

Seeking a cleaner to perform a variety of residential cleaning, packing, organizing and general labour duties. Can be part-time or full-time. Attention to detail and a positive attitude a must.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Dusting and cleaning ceiling vents, surface areas, and counter surfaces
- Performs general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors
- Using vacuuming equipment; vacuums and cleans carpets,
- Disposing of trash from bins and containers
- Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in bathrooms
- Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintaining and upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products
- Wrap home furnishings, housewares, decor, etc in protective material
- Loading/unload and packing/unpacking items with care
- Place furniture in the requested positions at the new location

Requirements and Qualifications
- Ability to follow verbal directions
- Ability to work well alone and with others
- Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties
- Pays attention to detail
- Organized
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with ability to stand for long lengths of time;
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 to 30 pounds
- General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques for cleaning

Nice to Have
- Previous experience cleaning is an asset but not necessary.
